Avyaan was inconsolable as Grade 1 came to an end. He loved Ms Ellis so much. This was the first time in his 3 years of public school time that his birthday was celeberated before school ends. Little kids specially boys find it difficult to articulate their feelings but they understand everything 🤗 He made 3 best friends- Dante, Kenda, Emma 👦👧👧
It was a beautiful morning this past Fathers Day. I was able to fix 6 course elevated Indian brunch. Ava made a nice card for Kunal😎

What a day swimming in Quassy Water park. Aarohi choose to make sand castle and enjoy the splash pad instead while the 3 of us took a dip in the cold water this past memorial day weekend 🏜️🏖️🏝️🏊♀️🏊
Wow!!! I am on the other side. Aarohi doesnt need a stroller. She can hike for about 1/2 a mile with no help. Isnt it something 🥾🚶♀️
Not sure where time flew by. My baby is totally diaper free🥁🥁. Dont require one even during nap time. I thought I will enjoy this milestone the most but its actually slightly emotional 😁 Not too long ago, I was trying to find the least ugly diaper pail 🤪🤪
I always felt Avyaan is very lucky. If you play UNO with him or any game that requires little bit of luck like getting “6” on a dice, he is sure to win. On the other hand, somehow I thought Aarohi didnt have as much luck . But I was WRONG. Yesterday, Magnet schools lottery results were out and guess what Aarohi made it to Academy of Aerospace PK. This is a big deal. Her first step towards a career in space. She has been asking questions about Space since quite sometime . Like Mommy are astranauts real 👩🚀Can they really fly in space 🪐? So, she was really destined to get in. There is a reason why she has a rocket ship on her side of the room. I am so excited for her future 🚀
Last night we read another story from Vedas and Upanishads. Its really the best book ever written for 5+ kids. Hands down 👌 It encourages kids to think and question and hopefully be more thoughtful in their action.
I asked Avyaan and Aarohi to share their desires 😁
Aarohi – I want to care for babies 🤪🤪 Avyaan and I were totally shocked. She explained how she can calm a crying baby with love and candies and if nothing works she will try time out 🤪🤪
Avyaan – Mommy I want you to try half marathon 🏃♀️ Yeah right 🤪 I am so behind on my running journey since I started crossfit. There is not enough days in the week to manage crossfit and running 😔
I am really blown away by Avyaans creativity. He wrote one song which really has a potential to go viral like “i m so lonely” by Akon. I can fix lyrics for him but music isnt my thing. This reminds me of my youth when I could really write poems 🎉 but my son is better than me (of course !) He can sing, write and play instruments. My plan is to write it down and when Avyaan has acquired enough music knowledge, he should be able to turn it into a legit song. 🎶🎤🎧🥁🎸
